Landscape Architecture is a diverse field. Throughout his career, Thomas Biro has been involved in a wide variety of projects. The following are some of the services he provides:
Residential Design
Over the span of his career, Thomas has designed and supervised hundreds of residential landscapes. He brings an artistic as well as a functional approach to his work no matter what the size or scope of the project His process starts with a meeting with the client to determine their wants, needs and dreams for their property. Program requirements are established along with economic expectations. A preliminary plan will be prepared. There will be one or more meetings to review the plan and make necessary changes. Also discussed will be materials, planting preferences, any outdoor structures and hardscapes; things such as outdoor kitchens, pools, fireplaces, gazebos, arbors, patios and walls to name a few. A finalized plan will include the elements of the design shown on the property drawn to scale. along with a plant list which includes the quantity, name and sized of the plantings.
If the project requires additional professionals, over the years Thomas has developed close relationships with architects, engineers, surveyors and planners. If needed, he can provide bid documentation and guidance through the Township’s permitting process. He can provide the necessary contractors such as landscapers, masons, carpenters, arborists, irrigation specialist, lighting designers and other quality contractors.
